  • Do you notice or enjoy delicate or fine scents, tastes, sounds, or works of art?

  • Do you have a rich and complex inner life?

It has been estimated that up to 20% of the human population is considered to be highly sensitive.  Being so isn't a bad thing, it just means you are  hypersensitive to a variety of stimuli, ranging from emotional, to physical aspects.  Because of this, anxiety, depression and trauma affects you more intensely than the hardy people of our world. Working with a therapist that understands these traits is essential to gaining a good understanding of why you are they way you are.

If several of the questions above describe you, you are most likely an highly sensitive.  Gelana is also highly sensitive and knows what it is like to experience life and feel things deeply. Finding a professional who understand these traits can be difficult because the highly sensitive trait has not been openly discussed until recently.  I have studied this trait extensively and have developed a program that will assist you to live in a hardy world while keeping your sensitivity.
