Highly Sensitive Person

It has been estimated that up to 20% of the human population is considered to be highly sensitive.  Being highly sensitive isn't a bad thing, it just means you are  hypersensitive to a variety of stimuli, ranging from emotional, to physical aspects. Unfortunately, people who are sensitive tend to struggle with a lot of anxiety and depression. 
If you find that people tend to tell you you are to sensitive, you probably are. You might also be told that you take things to personally.  You might feel emotions deeply and get easily overwhelmed by them.  You may also be sensitive to other peoples feelings and become easily upset but don't understand why when your life is going well.   Often people who are highly sensitive can also be highly empathic.  Finding a professional who understand these traits can be difficult and somewhat scary to ask about.  Being highly sensitive myself, I can help you understand yourself and empower you to live a more fulfilling life.
